Today was my very first day of work! I was able to jump start my journey into this chapter of my life with the wonderful memories I made this weekend with my family and friends. Spent time with the lovely Lonestars at the Lonestar Anniversary party and spent time with my amazing parents. As I thought about what a great weekend I had, I put on my stilletos and put my best foot forward in starting my life! It probably sounds crazy, but I was so excited to start work today! Not only am I excited to hit the ground running practicing law, but I am so excited about the law firm that I work for. This is more than just work for me, the people I work with are more than just co-workers, they are more like family! I worked at Gray & Becker in college as a runner for 3 years. It was during these 3 years that everyone at the firm encouraged me to think about going to law school. It seems like just yesterday I was preparing for the LSAT! Today I walked through the front doors and immediately felt like I was right where I was supposed to be. I have so much to learn but I am so fortunate that I am with a firm where I have the opportunity to learn from the best.
Today I was also reminded of how small the world really is. As I received information on a case that I get to help work on I learned that opposing counsel on the case is none other than one of my professors from law school! Never would have thought that would ever happpen!
Cannot wait to see what lies ahead of me!

BUT i'm really excited you are donating to Big Brothers Big Sisters, my dad has been doing that for a few years and loves it. his little brother is precious and absolutely adores him :)
